Thiago is a master student of Political Science at Nova de Lisboa University, currently studying the correlations between the Universal Basic Income and the Bolsa Família program (a Brazilian Conditionate Cash Transfer). He has a bachelor’s degree in Law from Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ), having graduated in 2018. His final undergraduate monograph focused on Constitutional Law and Judicial Activism in the Brazilian Supreme Court.
Besides this, Thiago was part of focus groups that focused on (i) debates related to Constitutional and Institutional Theory, (ii) human psychological trauma in different historical moments and (iii) Neoprocesssualism on the new Brazilian Civil Process Code of 2015. He also has participated in the writing of memorials for the Interamerican Court of Humans Right, on the subjects “The Fundamental Right of Reelection” and “Differentiated Treatment with Prisioners”.
