I am a Basic Income supporter, researcher, writer and activist. I write for Basic Income News and Medium. I am also a researcher at the Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society at the University of Minho and a founder of the Portuguese Basic Income Association. I was a member of the local organizing committee of the 17th BIEN Congress in Lisbon, where I gave the welcome speech on behalf of our team. I also presented at the 16th NABIG Congress in New York City, the Technology, Employment and Basic Income Workshop in Barcelona and several events in Lisbon, Portugal. I have also helped set up the #BasicIncomeChallenge in partnership with Mein Grundeinkommen, a german think tank that finances Basic Incomes via crowdfunding.
